Destiny 2 by Bungie is a magnificent fps video game published by Activision in 2017. If we are scouting for a fps console game with an amazing story, this is a perfect choice.



Players assume the role of a "Guardian", protectors of Earth's last safe city as they handle a power known as "Red Legion" to guard the City from various alien races. One of those races, the Cabal, led by the warlord Dominus Ghaul, infiltrate the Last City and strips all Guardians of their Light. The player sets out on a journey to recover their Light and find a way to destroy Ghaul and his Red Legion military and gain back the Last City. Like the first Destiny, the video game features expansion packs that deeper the narrative and adds new material and missions. A third, large growth, Forsaken, premiered in September 2018, beginning Year Two with an overhaul on gameplay. The game and the three expansions were packaged into Destiny 2: Forsaken Legendary Collection. An annual pass was also available alongside this release, containing three top content drops for Year Two. Year Three will begin with the large expansion, Shadowkeep, scheduled for September 2019 as a standalone release, not needing the previous expansions to play. Alongside the expansion will be a variant of Destiny 2 called"New Light", a free-to-play re-release of Destiny 2 and the first two expansions.

Unlocking the first three Forges requires players to experience a long and exceptionally tedious questline that involves killing a whole lot of enemies in various ways, sometimes using just Power weapons. As in the original Destiny, players explore a series of open and exotic worlds, choosing between a mixture of story missions and side quests, all while growing in level and collecting and equipping more powerful loot.
